Sibling Comfort

 It was a gloomy day. It made Gigi Principe was to just go to sleep and stay asleep all day.

 But she found some good out of it. She baked. A pastime of hers she did when she was bored.  

 She had just put the cupcakes in the oven when the door bell rang.

 Gigi opened it and their was one of her surrogate brothers Austin Seville. He had a forlorn look on his face.

 "Hey bro, what's wrong?" Gigi asked as she let him in.

 "I hate people" Austin said.

 Gigi nodded.

 "Yeah they can be assholes right? Come on I'll make us Hot chocolate and you can tell me what happened" Gigi said as she led him to the kitchen.

 Austin then sat on one of the stools by the counter as Gigi got all the stuff to make the hot chocolate.

 "Ok what happened?" Gigi asked as she heated up the water.

 "Well I was at the store today and one of the football players came up to me and told me I was a worthless f..." Austin started. He couldn't even say that horrible word.

"You don't have to say it. I know what he said" Gigi said as her eyes grew dark.

 Austin nodded.

 "He even said he knew about my crush on Simon. Simon know I like him and we're together but the school doesn't know. The only ones that know are you, my family and Victor" Austin said.

 "Well don't worry because if he's a football player then Victor is gonna beat his ass! Victor doesn't stand for that" Gigi said.

 "I know" Austin said.

 Once the water was boiling, she then turned the stove off and poured the mix in. She stirred it and poured it into two cups.

 "Want marshmallows and whip cream?" Gigi asked.

"Sure" Austin said.

 Gigi then put those in both hot Chocolates. Austin then smelled the sweet aroma in the kitchen.

 "Were you bored today?" Austin asked.

 Gigi smiled.

 "Yes. Why?" Gigi asked.

 "You bake when you're bored. What did you make this time?" Austin asked.

 "Cupcakes" Gigi said.

  A few minutes later the oven beeped. Gigi pulled the cupcakes out of the oven and set them to cool.

 "A few minutes I'll frost a few and we can eat them" Gigi said.

 "Sounds good" Austin said still a little sad about what happened.

 Gigi noticed this. A few minutes she frosted two cupcakes and gave one to Austin.

Still looking a little sad, he took the cupcake. Gigi smiled she knew exactly what would cheer him up.

 "Wanna watch the new Batman trilogy?" Gigi asked nonchalantly

 Austin's head shot up, eyes lit.

 "Yes!" He exclaimed.

  Gigi giggled.

 "Come on" Gigi said as she led him into the living room. Gigi set up the DVD player and the movie started.

 The surrogate siblings sat on the couch together, drinking their hot chocolates and eating their cupcakes.

 "Hey. Thanks Gigi. For this" Austin said as he finished his cupcake and wrapped his arms around Gigi.

  Gigi smiled.

 "No problem Fratello, no problem"
